Radioactive Spider
Rare · Creature — Spider
8.4BombRank 8 of 188
One of the 10 best cards of the set (8.5/10).
Why. A one-drop with reach and deathtouch: it blocks and kills nearly anything. Its sacrifice ability tutors a Spider Hero, turning a cheap card into the exact card your deck needs.
Risks. It is a 1/1, so any removal or light damage spell kills it. The search only finds Spider Heroes, so your deck needs to contain them; otherwise it remains a good defensive blocker.
In the draft. Take it high in a green deck with several Spider Heroes: a great first play plus a search. Without them it is just a blocker, but still a solid one.
