Mornsong Aria
Rare · Legendary Enchantment
5.2PlayableRank 167 of 264
A solid playable that rarely gets cut (5.2/10).
Why. A strange legendary enchantment: nobody draws cards or gains life, and at each draw step that player loses 3 life and searches their library for any card. You find exactly what you need, but so does your opponent.
Risks. It is symmetric and very dangerous for you as well: three life per turn each, and you can't gain life. It is hard to use well in draft.
In the draft. Leave it in almost every case. Only for a very aggressive deck that can finish the game before the opponent.
Win rate of the card
Percentage of games won by the decks that play this card, depending on when it shows up, from the real games of the set.
Its place in the set
- Rare: rank 56 of 61
- Black: rank 23 of 39
- Cost 3: rank 41 of 66
Win rate by colour pair
Percentage of games won by the decks of each pair that play the card, with the number of games. The pairs are the two main colors of the deck: when the card has a color outside the pair, the deck plays it as a splash (marked “splash”). A pair that has an archetype in this set leads to its guide.
Win rate on the play and on the draw
Win rate alongside other cards
Win rate of the decks that play both cards, compared with the one you would expect from what each card gets alone. At least 150 games together.
