Carnage, Crimson Chaos
Rare · Legendary Creature — Symbiote Villain
6.6GoodRank 44 of 188
A very good rare of the format (6.6/10).
Why. A four-mana 4/3 with trample that, on arrival, returns a creature with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard: two bodies for one card. Mayhem also lets you cast it from the graveyard for two mana if you discarded it this turn.
Risks. The returned creature must attack each combat and is sacrificed when it deals combat damage to a player, so it's a temporary bonus. Carnage himself is fragile with 3 toughness.
In the draft. A strong black-red gold card if you have cheap creatures for the graveyard. Take it in those colours; mayhem is a bonus when you discard.
