Eddie Brock // Venom, Lethal Protector
Mythic · Legendary Creature — Human Hero Villain // Legendary Creature — Symbiote Hero Villain
6.6GoodRank 45 of 188
A very good mythic of the format (6.6/10).
Why. A three-mana black 3/3 that returns a creature with mana value 1 or less from your graveyard. It is a fine body, and Venom waits behind it for six mana and three colours.
Risks. Transforming needs black, red and green, which is very hard to reach in draft. Without it, Eddie is a 3/3 whose effect often has no target.
In the draft. Play it as a decent three-mana 3/3, with the transformation as a rare bonus. Don't build your deck around it.
