The rule

Ability word: the effect is only available while there are seven or more cards in your graveyard (a stat bonus, an ability, or the option to cast the card).

In play

You have to fill your graveyard (mill, surveil, discard). Only five cards, two of them commons (Void Extrapolator, Theorix Metamage); Proft, Sinister Mastermind can't even be cast before then.
