Aunt May
Uncommon · Legendary Creature — Human Citizen
6.8GoodRank 38 of 188
A solid uncommon of the format (6.8/10).
Why. A one-mana creature that gains you 1 life whenever another creature enters, plus a +1/+1 counter if it is a Spider. In a deck full of Spiders the counter is a real bonus.
Risks. A 0/2 body does nothing alone. Outside a deck packed with creatures and Spiders, it is a small life-gain engine that barely changes the game.
In the draft. A late-pack pick for a white Spider deck. In other decks, don't play it until you have enough creatures to justify it.
