Cheering Crowd
Rare · Creature — Human Citizen
7.4Very goodRank 20 of 188
A very good rare of the format (7.4/10).
Why. A 2/2 that grows on every player's turn: at the start of their first main phase, that player may put a +1/+1 counter on it and add one colourless mana for each counter. On your turns it is a ramp creature that keeps growing.
Risks. The bonus also benefits the opponent, who can add a counter and get colourless mana on their turn. That symmetry is dangerous in a deck with no clear plan, and it dies quickly.
In the draft. A niche card to take late: playable in a red or green deck, but you have to know how to use it. Avoid it if your deck cannot use the extra mana.
