Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider
Mythic · Legendary Creature — Human Performer Hero // Legendary Creature — Spider Human Hero
7.6Very goodRank 16 of 188
One of the very best mythics of the format (7.6/10).
Why. A red two-drop that exiles the top card of your library and lets you play it as long as Gwen stays on the battlefield: cheap card advantage. Transformed, she flies, has vigilance and haste, and grows as you play cards from exile.
Risks. A fragile 2/1: if she dies, you lose the right to play the exiled card. Transforming costs five mana including blue, red and white, so three colours.
In the draft. A good mid-to-high pick in red. Play her early so the exiled card gets used quickly; transforming is a bonus in a three-colour deck.
