Miles Morales // Ultimate Spider-Man
Mythic · Legendary Creature — Human Citizen Hero // Legendary Creature — Spider Human Hero
8.8BombRank 5 of 188
One of the 10 best cards of the set (8.8/10).
Why. A green two-drop that puts a +1/+1 counter on up to two creatures, itself included: immediate value. Transformed, it has first strike and haste and doubles the counters on each Spider and legendary creature when you attack, which gets out of hand quickly.
Risks. Transforming costs six mana across red, green and white, and only at sorcery speed. The front face is a small body that stands poorly alone with no other creatures to boost.
In the draft. A good early pick in green: the enters effect is useful in any creature deck. It shines with plenty of counters and Spiders; transforming is a bonus if you have the colours.
