Why. A 2/3 flier for three mana that keeps its red mana from one phase to the next and adds a red mana whenever you cast an instant or sorcery. When it leaves the battlefield, you may pay X to deal X damage to a player.
Risks. It needs plenty of instants and sorceries to shine. Without them it is a fair 2/3 flier that dies to small removal. It asks for two red mana on turn three.
