The Spot, Living Portal
Rare · Legendary Creature — Human Scientist Villain
7.6Very goodRank 17 of 188
One of the very best rares of the format (7.6/10).
Why. A 4/4 that, on entering, exiles a nonland permanent and a nonland permanent card from a graveyard: removal and a body in one card. If he dies, he goes to the bottom of the library and the exiled cards return to their owners' hands.
Risks. Five mana in white and black. If he is killed, the exiled cards go back to their owners' hands, so the removal is temporary in that case. Both targets are optional.
In the draft. A very good pick for white-black: a solid body plus removal. Aim at the opponent's best threats, keeping in mind that an opponent who can kill him gets the card back.
