One of the best commons of the format (7.0/10).
Why. A two-mana instant with two jobs. It kills a creature with power 4 or greater, or protects one of yours by giving it a +1/+1 counter and hexproof until end of turn.
Risks. The removal mode only reaches big creatures, so small threats slip by. The protection mode needs a creature worth saving on your side of the table.
In the draft. A solid white inclusion once you already hold some broader removal. Hold it for the opponent's biggest threat, or to answer a removal spell aimed at your best creature.
