Black Cat, Cunning Thief
Rare · Legendary Creature — Human Rogue Villain
7.6Very goodRank 18 of 188
One of the very best rares of the format (7.6/10).
Why. A 2/3 that gives you access to two cards from among the top nine of the opponent's library, playable with any type of mana. It is pure card advantage, and it denies the opponent their best cards.
Risks. Five mana for a modest body, and the gain only arrives if you have the mana to play the cards. You do not control what sits on top of the opponent's library.
In the draft. A middling pick for a black control or value deck. It does not win the game alone, but it makes up for a card trade well and gives you options late.
