Gwenom, Remorseless
Mythic · Legendary Creature — Symbiote Spider Hero
7.0GoodRank 30 of 188
A very good mythic of the format (7.0/10).
Why. A 4/4 with deathtouch and lifelink: it blocks and attacks very well. When it attacks, you may play cards from the top of your library, paying life equal to a spell's mana value instead of its cost; lifelink offsets part of it.
Risks. Five mana with two black mana in the cost. Paying life can be dangerous against an aggressive deck. It dies to removal like anything else.
In the draft. A solid body rather than a priority: it defends and attacks very well even without its ability. A middling to late pick in a black deck.
