Hobgoblin, Mantled Marauder
Uncommon · Legendary Creature — Goblin Human Villain
4.6WeakRank 140 of 188
A solid playable that rarely gets cut (4.6/10).
Why. A 1/2 with flying and haste for two mana: it hits the turn it lands and gets over blockers. Each discard gives it +2/+0 until end of turn, so with Mayhem cards it becomes a real threat.
Risks. Without discards it hits for 1, which is little, and it dies to almost anything. It does not hold the ground against bigger creatures.
In the draft. Playable in an aggressive red deck with discard or Mayhem effects. Elsewhere it is weak.
