Spider-Gwen, Free Spirit
Common · Legendary Creature — Spider Human Hero
2.0WeakRank 179 of 188
Not good filler and often gets cut (2.0/10).
Why. A legendary 2/3 reach for three mana that may discard a card to draw a card whenever it becomes tapped. Attacking improves your hand each turn, and it blocks fliers well.
Risks. A 2/3 attacks poorly into solid blockers. The ability only triggers when it becomes tapped, so it has to attack or be tapped another way, which exposes it.
In the draft. A decent three-drop for a red deck that wants to smooth its hand. Take it as curve filler.
