Getaway Barrel
Rare · Artifact
2.0WeakRank 177 of 188
Not good filler and often gets cut (2.0/10).
Why. A strange artifact: when it is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you reveal thirteen cards and put a random creature onto the battlefield. With luck, you get a big free creature; on average, it is a creature from your deck without paying its cost.
Risks. Four mana for an artifact that does nothing on its own and depends on being destroyed (by a sacrifice or by the opponent). The creature is chosen at random, so the result is random, and there is no reliable way to send it to the graveyard without an outside effect.
In the draft. Avoid it: in most decks, nothing sends it to the graveyard. Play it only with several sacrifice or artifact-destruction effects.
Win rate of the card
Percentage of games won by the decks that play this card, depending on when it shows up, from the real games of the set.
Its place in the set
- Rare: rank 53 of 53
- Red: rank 28 of 29
- Cost 4: rank 29 of 31
Win rate by colour pair
Percentage of games won by the decks of each pair that play the card, with the number of games. The pairs are the two main colors of the deck: when the card has a color outside the pair, the deck plays it as a splash (marked “splash”). A pair that has an archetype in this set leads to its guide.
Win rate on the play and on the draw
Win rate alongside other cards
Win rate of the decks that play both cards, compared with the one you would expect from what each card gets alone. At least 150 games together.
