Bloomburrow (BLB)
Gift
The rule
As you cast the spell, you may promise an opponent a gift (a card, a Food token, a Treasure token or a tapped 1/1 Fish); they get it, and the spell usually has a stronger effect.
In play
Giving a card or a token has a cost: save it for when the effect you gain is worth more. On Parting Gust, the exile is permanent only if you give the gift; on Nocturnal Hunger, with no gift you lose 2 life.
